April 2016 Reptile News

What a busy month April has been! I’ve been putting together a huge guide to feeding bearded dragons which is going to be released in the next week or two, but before then its time for a round-up of exactly what’s been going on in the reptile world.

As a reminder we keep abreast of all the latest reptile news as it happens, and share it both on Twitter and Pinterest – why not come and follow us there?

However for anyone that doesn’t “tweet” we also like to provide a monthly round-up of those posts that got the most engagement among out social media followers. In April there were some great articles published – and I’m pleased to report that our extensive guide to keeping Avicularia versicolor was among those which performed best.

A Personal Note

Over the last few weeks I’ve been on a “reptile spring clean” – giving every cage in my collection a thorough top-to-bottom clean and replacing any equipment or fittings necessary to keep everything in tip-top condition. Its been a lot of work but the collection now looks fantastic!

I’ve also been doing a lot of “price comparisons” to find the best-value reptile food over the last few weeks – and I hope to reveal my findings in a post during May. You’ll be surprised just how much money you can save on reptile food when you know where to shop…

Reading List

Here, then, is the curated list of those articles and news stories which drove the most engagement during April. I encourage you to click through if you find anything that appeals so you can broaden your reptile and exotic pet knowledge. Let’s get started!
