If you’re new to exotic pets and are considering getting your very first snake, tarantula or what-have-you, or you have one or two pets but are looking to expand your knowledge and get more serious in the hobby then this is the place to be.

Whilst there are a huge number of different types of exotic pets, with t huge range of different requirements from the simple through to the species that are virtually impossible to keep there are a range of themes that run through the whole hobby of keeping exotic pets.

By getting a better feel of these principles such as the basics of setting up tanks, health-checking exotic pets to ensure your specimens remain fit and healthy and so on you will quickly find that you develop “transferable skills” that can let you move quite smoothly from keeping one type of exotic pet to another without too many difficulties.
